Notice – Olympic Water and Sewer Inc. (OWSI) has identified a potassium permanganate issue currently affecting Woodridge, Olympic Terrace 1 & 2, Highland Drive and Bayview villages. Potassium Permanganate is used to treat well water for iron and manganese removal. If your water is pink to purple in color, an alternate water supply should be used. It is recommended that customers not drink the water when it has this coloration.
OWSI technicians are currently flushing in the areas affected by the potassium permanganate. If you are still experiencing any color tomorrow morning (6/30/23), please allow cold water to run for a few moments to clear the lines.
