SCHEDULE

The scheduled North Bay Ice Pigging is complete.
Additional NB areas may be addressed once the rest of the schedule has been completed.

The move to the South side of Port Ludlow has been delayed as maintenance of the ice production equipment is currently being performed. Pigging will continue as soon as ice production can be resumed.

This schedule is subject to change.

Ice Pigging™

If you’re wondering, “How does Ice Pigging™ work?” we will briefly explain. Ice Pigging™ is an award-winning, innovative, sustainable, advanced pipeline cleaning technology to improve water quality and aid asset management. An ice pig is a semi-solid material made from water and table salt that is pumped through a pipeline to completely clear debris, biofilms, fat, oil, grease, and more. This cleaning method can work 1,000 times more effectively than unidirectional flushing, and can generally clean more pipelines daily than jetting and air scouring. This innovative approach can save pipeline companies time and money while boosting cleanliness metrics.
