We are pleased to announce a transition in our leadership team at Olympic Water & Sewer. After an impressive 33 years of service, Greg Rae, a valuable member of our organization, is retiring. Throughout his tenure, Greg has provided valuable expertise and contributions to the success of our organization, and we are immensely grateful for his hard work and commitment to the Port Ludlow community.
With Greg’s retirement, we are delighted to promote Jason White, from Operations Supervisor to the position of Vice President/Manager. Jason has been an integral part of our team since 2021 and is excited and ready to step into the role.
With over 13 years of experience in the industry, Jason White is a highly certified and extremely dedicated water and wastewater professional. His expertise and achievements include being certified as a Group 4 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator by the Washington Department of Ecology, as well as holding certifications from the Washington Department of Health as a Water Distribution Manager 3, Water Treatment Plant Operator 2, and a Cross Connection Control Specialist.
Furthermore, Jason is an esteemed member in good standing with the American Water Works Association, Water Environment Federation, Evergreen Rural Water of Washington, and NW Biosolids. Through these affiliations, he has demonstrated his commitment to collaboration with other professionals, aiming to protect public health and maintain environmental stewardship.
One of Jason’s distinguishing qualities is his “boots on the ground” approach to customer service. He believes in personally engaging with the community and ensuring their water needs are met. Don’t be surprised if you see him in your neighborhood, conducting water profiles or collecting samples for laboratory analysis. If you encounter Jason during his visits, we encourage you to stop and say hello.
Please join us in congratulating Jason on his well-deserved promotion and in wishing Greg Rae a fulfilling and enjoyable retirement.
