Olympic Water and Sewer (OWSI) is committed to providing safe and reliable drinking water to all our customers. In accordance with the recently issued Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) established by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), OWSI is currently undertaking a comprehensive inventory of all service lines within our distribution system and so far no service lines have evidence of lead.
OWSI must submit inventory reports by October 16, 2024 and notify every connection served by a lead, galvanized requiring replacement, or lead status unknown within 30 days of completing and submitting their inventories. We will notify customers directly if their property is identified as having a lead service line.
